Q: No service, searching, simcard side rapidly heating up

Different carrier have been tried, update to 5.1.1 tried, but not resolved. Beside this, it catches the signal sometimes, but it goes again suddenly. The down side of simcard heating up rapidly. Is anybody has the same problems? Can I get a new one form warranty? I have bought the phone form USA, can I Change it at any Apple Store in Deutschland? Any suggestions?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

It can only be serviced in the U.S. The warranty is not and has never been international.

I am living in Turkey and I found a friend who travels for 2 days to USA, I asked for him to bring that Iphone for a service check. Is anybody know, how they check the phone if it has a hardware problem or not in Apple Store? How long does it take to get a new one from warranty? Has anybody any expirience how the procedure goes on?

If it's under warranty, and your friend takes it to an Apple Store, they should swap it out with a replacement on the spot.
