Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
So I sent my iPod touch to apple it took them 3days to get it but within a day they are sending it back. On the 2nd part of the repair status it says Diagnosing Product but on the 3rd it says original product shipped does that mean its not getting fixed?

What was the damage? Broken screen?
Unless it is a manufacturing defect and not accident or abuse, they do not cover it.
I had it plugged into my computer overnight, When I woke up the next day it had a white screen and then after that it came on for a few minutes and wouldnt come back on after that. So I didn't drop it or abuse it or anything.
Just a first question without any previous information.
Could be a type of reset known only to Apple techs that takes only 30 seconds and now it is fixed, but they did not state that it was reset in the record. Just a guess.
No, I just recieved an email and it said it was inspected and it was caused by accidental damage or missuse, wich it was not. I am highly angry about this. Is there any way I can dispute that?
We are just users. Others may know some people who to contact, but Apple itself is your best place to ask, as only they know their own procedures and warranty specifics.

well, it isn't apple's fault. that's what the warrenty was for, is if the apple company made it wrong.
Did they say exactly how it was accidental damage
