I can't start any apps in the same page
If none of your downloaded apps are working then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
I have got the sam problem - Ipad after iOS 5.1.1 update - none of the app is launching. Tried clearing memory (running apps), restart, installing free app, re-installing apps - nothing work. Any idea?

There is no technical support at all from Apple here. We are only other users - just like you - volunteering time here to try to help other users with their technical issues.
If you want technical support from Apple - contact them. Apple employees do not participate on this discussion site.
Fair enough. I am new to this.
The soution to failure of opening Apps after IOS 5.1.1 update in my new IPad is to:
1. Erase all content and setting in general setting
2. Reinstall Apps using ICloud backup service.
Hope it helps others with similar software bug in IOS 5.1.1

I'm glad you got your issue resolved!
Try a restore from backup - to fetch your old settings. the backup made just before you updated is the one to use.
