My iPhone 4 is stuck vibrating and won't do anything else but vibrate.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

I have the same problem and the phone does not respond to reset and is not recognized in any way by plugging into iTunes. It is as if you never plugged it in.
