How to display track name in iTunes

Not sure about this. CD tracks used .wav format (needed to use it so my old windows XP computer could use them).

I suspect you've answered my question when you say iTunes does not support CD-text.

I selected Toast's Add CD-Text. I don't know if it's the same as your mentioned CD-text. As I know nothing of CD-text, if you know what it is, can you please briefly explain it to me?

Even though you say CDs do not contain track information, it must be stored on the CD somehow for the car sound system to display it as it has no internetconnection.

Thank you for the info. Now I know what CD-Text is and that it's a real name, and not just a Roxio invention.

I'll just have to accept that Apple can live in the past (as an oldie, I'm used to Track 1, etc).

As an old computer programmer (mainframe) and a user of internet banking, I have to decline using a script I have no idea about and of questionably security.

As an 'old fart', I'll just put up with iTunes displaying the old Track 1, etc, which I'm used to.

I've had a Mac for a few years, but am new to AppleScript.

Had a look at AppleScripts in Help. Do you know of a tutorial I can look at? Help screens tend to be very lacking in imparting useful information.

Have downloaded the script, but not yet found how to read it. Perhaps a tutorial will help.

Seeing your picture made me go to System Preferences where I found that my mouse was set-up as just the one button. I've now changed right-click to Secondary Button and it works.

Until now, I've only ever thought a Mac had just the one button. Never too old to learn, eh!
