Where are smart drums in OSX Garageband?

Please don't tell me that Apple only includes this in their iOS version.... I have both but the iOS version has serious latency issues when recording guitar against smart drums on the iPad.

one solution, then, would be to lay down your drum tracks, and then export the project to your Mac to continue working on it.

Having to do that is ridiculous. Why don't they just include it in BOTH versions. Imagine that right? It's cool though, I figured out my latency issue. Still lame they cant' do that though. Apple....the masters of withholding technology.

Withholding technology... what? In nearly 30 years apple has been first to bring many technologies to us before anyone else.

First of all a Mac doesn't have a touch screen. And then their are many midi keyboards, drum pads and professional midi drums kits and you also have thousands of drum loops that all work with Garageband os x.
