Q: No service with foreign sim on unlocked iphone 4

I recently got my iPhone unlocked by AT&T. I inserted an international sim in it which has worked fine on other unlocked devices. I get a really low Tmobile signal and am unable to make any calls. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
