How Do I change my email account on my iPhone 4S once I changed it on my iTunes account? I am not able to update any apps on my phone because the iPhone hasn't changed to the new email account. It won't allow me to change it. It's gray on my phone. But I am able to log on to my iTunes account via computer. I deleted the email off the phone and put my new address as my primary but...nuttin' honey. Help!
Try to read discussions on iTunes store forum, will get better grasp of the problem. In short when you purchase something or get something for free from iTunes, your apple id is embedded in purchase. The fact that you decided that you have different e-mail, is unknown to those apps or music. If you want to stay with new one, you d have to repurchase stuff or go to old one.
All apps are forever tied to the Apple ID (often the case is your e-mail address) used during purchase.
