Q: How do I purchase a download album from Finland iTunes

I have an active iTunes account for the UK...how do I use it to buy a Wigwam album only available in Finland...I have tried to be clever and open a 2nd account in Finland but you can't use the same email address and keeps asking me to login using my UK details and then (smugly?) tells me again that it is only useable in the UK store...Ahhhhh!!!!...Catch 22 again, again, again....∞

You can only buy/download content from your own country's store - to download from another store you need a valid address in that country, if using a credit card then that needs to be registered at that same address, and you need to be in that country at the time of purchasing.

 

Is it available on other music purchase download sites ? You could try requesting that it be added to the UK store, but ultimately it's the distributor/copyright holder that has to grant Apple a license to sell it in a particular country : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

    Thanks a million for explaining....puts us being in the free trade market of Europe a waste of time when it comes to wanting to pay for music legally and not use pirate download sites....and then they wonder why they are all in decline.....hmmmmmm!!
