Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me.
When I plug the ipad into my macbook pro, not only does itunes not automatically load, it doesn't really recognize the ipad. It does come up in devices, but the only options allowed are restore and set up as a new ipad. I can't see my music, apps or anything on the ipad. When I plug my husband's ipad 2 into the laptop, it sees everything just fine. Help!

I was just getting ready to try your suggestion, and decided to try one last thing first. I hooked it up to my pc, and it synced just fine with itunes on it. So after that, I plugged it back into the mac and it seems to have solved the problem.
BUT, I'm saving your reply in case it happens again. Thank you so much.
