Q: mineral spirits to clean this puppy?

i have to clean the recessed earpiece on this device. can i use mineral spirits or is this a Very Bad Idea?

Bad idea. If such chemicals get onto the screen or seep into the case, it could cause serious damage. Here's what Apple says about cleaning their products:
