iPad, iOS 1.x
What's not working? What are you trying to do, from what type of computer (with OS version and iTunes version), and where are things breaking down? Without more information, we could not even begin to guess at a possible solution. Please also tell us what model of iPad you have and what version of iOS it's running; it's most definitely not on iOS 1.x as your profile claims.
Regards.
It is Ipad 1. I was trying to update and it gave me several errors like itunes couldn't find the ipad software so now when I start the Ipad, I get the icon of itunes and the usb plug. It means that the system that it was in it in the first place was deleted and now all I get the itunes icon and the apple plug for the usb.
What can I do to fix the problem especially after trying many times to uninstall itunes and install it again.
I even installed a fresh copy of windows and then I installed itunes and still not working.
Can anybody tell me what to do?
I cannot take it to somebody to fix it for me or call apple because I am not located in USA.
Please help me so I can try to fix it on my own.
Thank you
Did you try all the steps in this article, which was linked from the one you referenced?
Yes I have tried everything.
Your iPad may have failed, then, and you'll have to get it in for service. If you have access to another computer, though, try it with that system first. If it still won't work, then that would make it highly likely that the iPad is defective.
Regards.
Can I fix it then on my own and how?
The iPad is not serviceable by the user. There are places that sell parts for the iPad, but the source of said parts and hence their compatibility and reliability will be completely unknown. You're completely on your own if you decide to attempt your own repair.
