How do you forward a voicemail message that one receives on their iPhone?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

If you hold your finger down on it you will get the option to copy it. Then paste it into an email or paste it into another conversation.

Doesn't work, it only keeps playing the message over again.

I'm very sorry. I misread your post. I thought you meant a text message.

I've tried calling my actual phone number to see if AT&T had options for voicemail forwarding...nope.  I've look into the two iPhone apps I have heard on forum:  Fusion Voicemail, Voicemail Viewer, Voicemail Inbox, etc....all of them get bad reviews and appear as if they do not work (didn't actually try myself).

SOLUTION:  I had my wife use the voice memo on her phone while I played the voicemail via speaker phone.  I laid them both down on a desk in a quiet room with the speaker of the iPhone (voicemail) phone directed toward the speakerbox of the recording phone.  The Voice Memo app on the iPhone (standard app) allows you to forward voice memos.  If your friend doesn't have an iPhone there are other app for other phones that have this memo forwarding capabilities.

QUALITY:  It does the job.  It's not a flawless voice quality...has some scratchy aspects to it (mostly the air from the speaker quality.  Good enough for a lawyer to hear, understand, etc.  It's the only option that worked for me.  Until someone develops an app that works right, this is it.

You can also use an app like PhoneView (Mac) or TouchCopy (Mac or PC) to archive the voice mail to your computer and forward it from there.

Download YouMail. You can forward to email and the basic version is free. It's a great app! It won't help you with this message but it will with future ones.
