The problem is your phone was illegally unlocked and jailbroken. When you upgraded it took the unlock off and now it is locked to the original carrier it was locked to. You will not be able to unlock it now.

P.S. While you won't be able to unlock it, it's probably a very wise idea to remove the jailbreak for many reasons.
