New ipad stopped working

I bought the new ipad at launch and everything has worked great. Today i was listening to a podcast and it started to stutter and then got in an endless apple logo loop. I was able to put my Ipad into recovery mode but now it will not restore. Every time i try i get the following error The "ipad" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (9). I have tried restarting my computer multiple times, uninstalling all apple software, using different USB ports, I have even tried on different computers and I still get the same error message.

Can anyone give me any other advice on how to fix this?

Force it into Recovery Mode. You may have to try it many times.

I think i am already in recovery mode. shows usb with and arrow going up to the itunes logo. Connect to itunes and says "itunes asd detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes" From there it starts to restore and i keep getting error (9)

Can you try other USB port or cable

Been working on the third Gen for hours now and cannot get it to recover. On the desktop, laptop, anything. All updated software properly on 2nd gen ipad.

Completely HOSED and BRICKED my 3rd Gen. Appointment at the Apple Store already....

I have swapped out the most recent cables. I have looked at every combination. Even the 1st Gen iPad updates. I can even begin to log onto the WiFi, etc. and then the hardware (3rd Gen) gets the screen of death....

Yeah, I think i am going to have to send it in for a fix. Been tring for 2 days now and can't get it to work. ***** that technical support is closed on weekends. Booked an apointment for 6:00 pm on monday. No apple stores within 5 hours drive so i assume i will be living without my ipad for a few weeks 😟 unless anyone has found some miracle cure
