Hi all,

I'm having the strangest issue with Time Machine.

When it attempts to backup it decides that it requires almost 169 TB of space, which is ridiculous, my HD is only 500 GB.

In the preferences though, it shows the estimated size of a full backup at 364.35 GB.

I've tried searching for an answer to this issue, but most of the answers I've found are about clearing space when time machine drive is full.

The only possible answer I found was to repair the disk permissions on my HD, which I have already done to no success.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Any hints in the system.log file?

Not that I notice, perhaps a more trained eye? Here's the log from when i started the backup to where it fails.
