Q: I just got this time capsule and it's asking for a password?

Hey all,

 

I just got this today, and just set it up and it's asking for a password?

 

Any ideas?

Time Capsule, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

A:

Press reset for one second.. there is no password on an unused TC. The soft reset will return all passwords to default.. ie public on the TC itself and nothing on wireless for 5min. So you can access and change them.
