Brightness photo's on iPhone adjusted with import from iTunes

Since one of the iTunes updates all photo's I am syncing from iTunes to my iPhone 4 are getting an brightness adjustment. This is causing my photo's to be too bright. Photo's taken with the iPhone are looking great so the camera isn't the problem, it's the syncing that causes the unwanted adjustment.

On my PC the photo is 100% correct. See the difference:

I have tried:

- re-install iTunes

- remove all photo's from iPhone and re-sync

- delete iTunes cache

I am lost and do not know how to solve this issue. Please help if you have any ideas to solve this.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1
