I bought iWork '09 and downloaded, well before the advent of the App Store. I need to replace my hard drive and cannot find the original trial download. How in the world can I get iWork back? I have searched and searched Apple's web site and can find nothing.
Is it the trial you need? You have a serial number to unlock the trial version?
Yes, I have the serial, just can't find the trial.
I can help you if you send me a mail. Click on my blue name for the address. Also promise that you burn the dmg to a disc so you wont loose it again!!

I have the same problem, I am needing to re install iWork09 after reloading my OS (10.6.8) but can't find the original Dmg file. I thought I had it backed up. I have the serial number that I purchased however so just need to file to set it up. Can you also help me. Sorry to trouble you.
Get yourself a cheap brightly colored Passport style USB Hard Drive and put all your software installers and serial numbers on that. You can add all the updates and any purchase information as you go along.
CDs and DVDs are a pain because they can't be changed, labelled and anotated.

Thanks, Problem solved, all up and running now. I have loaded the software and applied my serial numbers to it.
