Q: My apple tv was working fine until I went away for two weeks. I came home and now my screen is showing blank. Nothing has been unplugged or changed. Any suggestions please? Esther

My apple tv was working fine until I went away for two weeks. apple tv is not showing up on my screen anymore. Nothing has been unplugged while I was away, although since coming home I have tried unplugging and rebooting, but that didn't work. I am turned to the correct channel for apple tv and everything is up to date. Any suggestions as to why my computer and tv are not syncing anymore? Thanks. Esther

Is it a Apple TV 3? Is the LED on or does it blink?

If you have already unplugged and rebooted it, you can try this:

Unplug the HDMI cable and the power cable. Connect your ATV to your computer using a micro-USB cable. You can find the micro USB socket on the backside of your ATV. Open iTunes. You will find the ATV on the left side under "Devices". Click on it and choose "Restore". After restoring connect the ATV to your TV.

    Hope this helps.
