Q: I'm considering copying my entire CD collection to ITunes match. Can you copy without using storage space. Play music without downloading. How to have match available on wife's iPhone? Is this the answer for all CD's?

I have hundreds of CD's. I would like to organize and store them. I want to make sure I understand this correctly.

Will the downloading of all the music use hard drive space on Imac or Iphone?

Can I play all music anytime, anywhere without downloading from cloud?

Can I make the songs and library available to my wife's Iphone ? How do you you do that?

This sounds to good to be true. I think I'm missing something.

Does anyone have a link or suggestion to have a strategy to load 100's of CD's that makes this process sound and organized?
