Email cannot connect to server

Check to see if everything you entered was correct and you didnt mispell or mistype. If not check to see if your on wifi or internet.

Best thing to do would be to delete the account (from phone), then completely restart it. Dont do a normal restart.

Hold down the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time until it shutsdown, then keep holding it until the Apple logo appear. Then re input the email in the phone.
