iPhone will not send contacts to Outlook

I bought a new iPhone 4s when I started a new job last week. When I add contacts to Outlook they get populated to my iPhone but I cannot get my contacts in my iPhone into my outlook contact database. What am I doing wrong or is this a corporate server problem?
