Q: My iPad wants me to update my carrier settings but it is not allowing me to press "not now" or "update" so it is stuck there in the middle of the screen and i cannot do anything about it. I cannot do anything with the iPad because of this fault
The iPad is asking me to update the carrier settings but it is not allowing me to, example: if i press "update" nothing happens and it is the same as before and if i press "not now" the same thing happens (nothing). I cannot turn the power of either because it wants me to update it first which i cannot do, i am not able to do anything while this is happening so it would be nice if someone new what to do.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.
