i had a debit card with like $15 i didnt know what to spend it on so i use it on itunes but now i want to use the gift card how do i take the info of the card off my account so i can use the gift cards?
Change billing information. Or, make a new account on your iPad/iPhone/iPod (NOT ON ITUNES) with payment option as None. P.S. you will need an iTunes Card with you.

i try to buy a show on itune after i had reedemed money from the gift card so i thoght since the money is there it will take it next thing i know the payment thing comes up with the debit card number and stuff

I don't think it won't. I don't know which it would take it from. I don't have any apple devices, I just know a lot about them. iTunes Store is not one of my specialties.

Itunes Store/Redeem Card, or iTunes Store/Actions/Redeem.
If you redeemed it on your iPad, it can no longer be redeemed.

No you didn't.
The gift card balance will be on any device/computer that is signed into your account.
Just buy something. it should come off of your gift card balance.
