Iphone4S won't sync w/ bluetooth earpiece (it can't find it) - Old Gen1 Iphone had no problems

advice welcome

a phone will only pair with a bluetooth device when the bluetooth device have been put into pairing mode

how you do that you can read in the manual of the bluetooth device

(sorry, I didn't realize the forum would assume the questioner would be such a newbie)

In pairing mode, my new Iphone 4S does not pair with my bluetooth ear piece (Blueant Q2) because the phone does not find the ear piece .

The earpiece sync'd fine with my old Gen-1 Iphone.

Can anyone advise me on this matter?
