outlook 2011 using imap some emails not showing

Hi

On my Mac, I am running Office 2011 with the latest patch (14.2.1) with Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

My outlook is synced using imap with my google mail and my ISP provider account, both sync using IMAP as I want emails available both online and my Outlook.

I have found an issue where for some reason on Outlook I cannot view older emails. I can see them in the list but if I click a message, there is no message body only the subject and who it was from.

When I go online to check these same emails in their respective folders, the whole email body message is there with no issues.

When I look at a pattern it seems to be older emails are now showing.

I can confirm my outlook is saying it is sync successfully.

I have tried putting outlook into offline mode.

I have gone into each account in outlook and set it to download headers only

Not seem to be having much look.

Does anyone know why this could be?

Many thanks
