Smart Office 2

Is anyone else having problems with Smart Office 2. It keeps telling me to check network settings or throws up an "unknown error". All other apps work fine and it is fully connected to the network so I do not understand what it wants me to check. Also, the support link gos nowhere, the page does not open. Is this a con or has the developer gone bust? Can anyone shed some light on this?
