Q: Changing "root" (owner) directory name.

The owner's directory/folder within the "users" directory is usually set up when an iMac is first purchased and put into use and is often based on the name of the owner (e.g., "/users/joeblow").  I've given my old Mac to someone else and would like to change the name of that directory.  Even as Administrator I cannot make a change in any of the usual ways that other users directories can be renamed.

Anybody have the information needed to change that directory name from, say, "users/joeblow" to "users/nancyblow"???

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks ...
