Q: changing name from old user to new

I changed the name from my "old" ipod to another name. Since then I just get the apple icon and nothing else. How do I get started? I cannot alsk for support as I cannot get to the serial no.

Try here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
To find SN:
iPod: How to find the serial number
or go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and hover the mouse pointer over the iPod backup and the SN will pop up.
