I am really excited about the new Diablo 3 coming out, and I was wondering if my macbook pro can handle the graphics.
My system is: 2 GHz Interl Core i7, $ GB, AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256MB, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3
I was wondering if there are any BETTER graphics cards?

For clarification purposes, the GPU in a MacBook Pro can not be upgraded.
Doesn't matter, as you can't change your GPU anyway. What you got is what you'll always have. Want better GPU performance? You'll have to purchase a new computer.
Graphics card cannot be upgraded in MBP.
You can re-buy the highest model of MBP in a 17 in model, but no gauarantees and again no self-upgrade from that re-purchase.
How about changing/replacing the card???

The MacBook Pro dose not have grapic card it only have the GPU chip intergraded direcly on to the Logic Bord same thing for the CPU only way to change the graphic is to ether buy a new mac or buy a new logic bord.
Aplle did this to be able to make the laptop smaller and less in kg adn to save spave in side the laptop.

That's for the 13" MacBook Pro and below, they don't have a dedicated graphics card only the default Intel HD 3000 that all Mac's now have.
The original poster also has a AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256MB, that's a dedicated graphics card in addition to the CPU graphics.
The Intel HD 3000 is in the cpu but the AMD HD 6490M is just the chip mounted on to the mother bourd.
I whas one time working on a Apple repear center throw my school for 2 weeks and thy showed me a
Logic Board from a 2011 MBP 15" it hade the INTEL sandy bridge and the sandy bridge have HD 3000 inside the cpu chip and the Logic Board also had a AMD gracpich GPU chip not the hole grapich card seperaded inside the laptop the only card that thelaptop have inside is the logic bouard and the MagSafe card.

Yes I'm aware of that, there are no daughterboards, it's just a old habit
Though this is a dead thread more or less, I thought it worth mentioning that you CAN expand your gfx card capabaility with a Macbook Pro. You just have to purchase the Thunderbolt PCIe expansion that Sonnet makes.
