new iPhone 4s polarized sunglasses issue

I have had an iPhone 4s Black 32GB since it launched and never had an issue using it through polarized sunglasses. I had my iPhone 4s replaced yesterday because my original one started getting a white spot in the middle of the screen. Now when I look at the new one through my polarized sunglasses it is completely green. I looked at my wife's 4s and it is fine. I went to a mother's day BBQ today and looked at 3 iPhone 4s including a new white one my mother got a month ago and none of them at this issue. Why is the one I recieved doing this? Is there something in the ones they replace originals with that cause it such as something Apple does to refurbished units?

I think I might make a genius appointment and explain it to them and see if they can maybe find one that doesn't do this. I know it is as easy as taking off the sunglasses but I work outdoors and am looking at my phone with my sunglasses constantly. I have been wearing polarized sunglasses for years and love them. There has been other devices that act a little strange using polarized glasses including a camera where I can't even see the screen but all iPhones since by first 3G have always been fine until now.

Any thoughts or anyone else experience this?

Thank you

I just had my iPhone 4 replaced. The first one looked normal through my polarized glasses. The second is very green. However, my friend, who has more expensive polarized glasses doesn't see it. It would appear to be a combination of a different screen on the replacements, as well as a variation of polarized lenses in the glasses. There is most certainly a difference in the screens, though.

Just as an FYI, I ended up going to an apple store after I recieved my replacement phone and showed them what it was doing. They were not going to replace it but I was a little presistant and they said "we can open one more phone for you and thats it". Luckily the first one they opened did not show the green issue.

While I was there they took my sunglasses and looked at all their display phones and their personal phones. We could not find one in there that had the green issue.
