It is a software related issue. Pray that Apple fixes the issue with a new update soon..... very soon.... Until then, we can use it as paper weight....lol...

Without more information, we can't even begin to guess. Where are you and who is your carrier?

I am in Dubai and my carrier is Etisalat. After the update to 5.1.1, there seems to be an issue with the network. It keeps falling and searching and this never happened in the earlier versions of ios. If you google, you will see a lot of users having this same issue. Do let me know if you need any more info.

Did you get the phone from Etisalat, or from somewhere else? If somewhere else, where?

I bought the phone from Etisalat. As per their instructions , I reset the network, turned airport mode on/off and hard booted the iphone. Nothing worked.
