Can't restore iPod Nano 6G, tried all troubleshoot solutions in the Apple page.

Hello, I just recieved an iPod nano touch (6G) as a gift from my family, but it won't turn on, not even show the apple logo, unless I plug it into my pc, then Itunes will recognize it, restart it in recovery mode and attempt to restore it, but in the end, iTunes will give me the error 1439. I have already tried all the solutions offered by apple and third parties, but it won't work. Also, I cant't put it in disc mode, or diagnostic mode. As far as I know (what I think) my iPod has no OS, It has never suffered from physicall damage, such as hits, falls, water, humidity, heat, nor cold. The warranty is null as my family took over a year to decide whether to give it to me or not.

My pc OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32b, Windows 8 CP 32b, and Linux with Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot

iTunes version: 10.6 (the last given by apple)

iPod: iPod Nano 6G - 8Gb capacity - product red.

iPod Series number: DCDYH01DDDW3

iPod nano, Windows 7

Hi Philistine379,

If you've already tried all of the troubleshooting steps in TS1372 http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1372 your only option is going to be contacting Apple, either at your local retail store or through AppleCare Technical Support, or possibly Customer Relations. Let them know what your iPod is doing and that you have followed all of the troubleshooting steps. You might have to go over the steps again with Apple, but that's no big deal. If there is no change talk with a manager or Customer Relations about getting a exception because of the delay in receiving your iPod. There is no guarantee that you will get an exception, but it's the best place to start.

Hope this helps.
