I have the first Gen IPad and the dock connector stopped working. I have tried everything. Cables,power sources etc. I need to know what the cost of replacing the connector when it is not under warranty. Thanks...

Apple do a replacement iPad service (the iPad is a sealed unit so you get a replacement). You don't say what country that you are in, but the out-of-warranty service price in the US is (from here) :
