How do I register my ipad3 ,though I thought I already did cos I have an apple I.d , but a friend says this registration is different from the apple registration.......
Couple of ways. The first time you connect your iPad to iTunes you will be asked if you would like to register. Or you can use either of these links.

@graywolf I checked http://support profile.apple.com and it asked for ma apple password and giving it it brought out the details I registered with initially
If you've logged onto supportprofile.apple.com and your iPad is listed there than it is already registered.
Graywolf thanks so much , I just registered my iPad now, I saw an option to add a product and it asked for serial number and it's successful .......
