Q: Battery drain after recent iOS version 5.1.1 update

Is anyone else experiencing the life being sucked out of their battery after the recent version 5.1.1 iphone software update?  Last update to 5.0 did the same thing, but there was a patch released a few weeks afterwards.  Any info on when a patch for this most recent version update will be released?  Thanks!!

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

experienced this as well today. Could be the 5.1.1 update although I have some serious doubts about the issues with iCloud today. iCould has been transferring data all day without any apparant changes to my settings, contact data etc. Mostly on 3G rather than using WiFi

Phone has died completely 3 times in the two days since the update. Have done the wipe and restore, closed all apps, deleted my iCloud / Mobile Me accounts, turned off email. And the phone still goes from 100% to dead when left unused (overnight) for 7 hours.

Made the phone completely useless. After 4 years of iPhone exclusivity, I am off to buy a pay as you go sim for my ancient Nokia until I can get down to an Apple store and throw it at someone.
