It has some music that she loaded on and paid for. I would like to set up an account and download some more msuic. Will the existing music be erased when I sync the ipod with my computer?

You need to connect the ipod to your computer and if you are on a shared account (shared itunes) tick the playlists you want on the ipod but make sure you have a backup in itunes.. If this doesnt help dont hesitate to contact me.
It is in her library. Apple told me to use her password and e-mail and downlowed the music from the ipod to a file my computer. Thee set up my own itunes acct and buy music and synch the ipod and download from my itunes library and then download from the separate file the old music- all on to my ipod. Does that make sense to you?
