Unfortunately that isn't a good sign, you might try removing ALL the cables from the Apple TV and leaving it for a while before powering it up again. If this doesn't help, your unit may have failed.

May 14, 2012 11:32 AM in response to Winston Churchillby ultradebb,As far as I know it is the 1st generation. We have had for over a year. I am glad it worked. We just hooked it up about 3 months ago so we have not been using it for too long. I would not have been happy if it had to be fixed.
