Intel not allowing network connection

I just got a new Intel Mac Pro (10.7.4) and cannot access my network. My older G5's (10.5.8) used afp to log in but now I get this message.



There was a problem connecting to the server. The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported.


Is there something I'm missing? My networked is wired and runs to Windows based server. All my other Mac G5's can still access the server the way I always have before.

You might have to connect with a different protocol. This article explains how to network with Windows:
