Dear All,
My time capsule is not working at all and there is no power in my device. I have tried to put in different power outlet but still not working.

Purchased from 3 years almost, it was always working very fine
If the LED is dark despite supplying it power, the Time Capsule has failed.

It seems has failed, Any solution, I have seen in other threads there is a common power supply issue in similar/same model. So how can I fix the issue now
Can I replaced from Apple and how
If it is less than 3 years old and you have applecare then Apple will replace it.
Otherwise they will not touch it. It is a consumable.. so you buy a new one.
If you want the old one repaired Apple cannot help, but you can remove the hard drive if you have stuff you want.. you can also replace the power supply with an external or repair the internal one.
For a TC of that age and disk size a new 2TB is good value. You can get the dead one fixed and sell it off, or just sell it dead.. they fetch reasonable prices on ebay.. if you don't want your information available, open it and wipe the hard disk using a USB holder. They get around $100 for that age and disk size working.. more or less, depending on the ebay day. Maybe $50 dead.
A repairer can fix it and put a larger hard drive in it.. but that will cost near to 2/3 of a new one.. so doubt it is worth it.. although IMHO the repaired one can last longer than the new one. As we can fix the fundamental flaw.. it runs too hot.
Contact a repairer near you if the nature of the repair is beyond you.
If your Mac is covered by AppleCare, your TC is also covered if
The AirPort device or Time Capsule must be purchased up to two years before your Mac purchase or during the term of your AppleCare Protection Plan coverage.
If this is the case for you, take it to the Apple Store and they'll exchange it: they did for me.

I have the same problem and I took my Time capsule to the store and they said the Time Capsules are designed to work for only 2 years and they wont replace it.

Amazing comment.. not one I have seen before.. but they will replace them up to 3years if you have applecare on a computer. They will also last a long long time with a decent power supply..
Ask the staff in the shop why anyone in their right mind would buy a TC as a backup device.. or worse so many people press them into service as a NAS, knowing that it won't last more than 2years.

That's not what it says on the web-site: The AirPort device or Time Capsule must be purchased up to two years before your Mac purchase or during the term of your AppleCare Protection Plan coverage.

When SJ announced the TC he said that it has server-grade hard drives. (Very) unfortunately we can no longer take him to task for that. It is more likely a question of staff not trained on the more esoteric aspects of product support. Until I showed them the print-out of the web-site, the staff in the AppleStore at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris didn't know about it either.

In actual fact, if you look at the quote above from the web-site, given that you can use a TC that has been purchased 2 years before the Mac and the Mac has a 3-year AC, that makes 5 years - which is a pretty good deal - provided you sell it on eBay in year 4....

They will only honor up to 3years.. sorry .. I have seen people interpret it that way.. but it isn't correct.. Apple have private clauses that warranty can only extend for 3years from purchase. The rule is for 2years before the computer purchase so up to 1 year after. Test it, but I have followed this column for a year or more.. and it has come up a few times.. no one has yet convinced apple to read the document that way.
Also the warranty for applecare is on the computer.. there is no apple care directly on the TC.. it is a periphral.. and covered by the computer.
