I want to connect my AppleTV to a wifi network that uses a web page for authentication, but this doesn't work as it does for all other Apple devices.

My Wifi network redirects to a web page to enter the password. iOS devices and Macs do the right thing and show the page in a sheet. Is there any way to enter that password on an AppleTV?

isn't possible to log onto networks that require the log in takes place via a web site.

Why not? That's not right. I'm having a heck of time because I'm trying to use the apple tv at a conference this weekend and the hotel WiFi connects only via a web page authentication https: --

There are tens of thousands of wifi networks that do this type of password/security proteciton scheme.

And I was trying to install for a client (coffee shop/café) that utilizes the same log in scheme and coudn't connect. This seems something fairly easy to solve, but I haven't found it yet.

On another note, and not related but on my mind, but maybe someone knows. If I google and find an Apple discussion, but to comment I then have to login, after login, Apple Discussions takes me to a generic discussions page and note the page I was just viewing and where I want to comment. That's odd, huh?
