yup says its in full screen mode but the dock still shows covering some of the necessary features in iPhoto
no real solution just set setting to show in all windows, the minimized it from full screen mode....because that function was unresponsive....Lion did the grey screen....then put the computer to sleep when it woke it seemed to straightened out
I am getting the same thing too since I upgraded to Mountain Lion.
First noticed it when I played a video clip from BBC iPlayer and hit the full screen button... annoyingly the dock covers the progress bar!
I have also launched a couple of other apps since then adn noticed that in full screen the dock remains annoyingly in place.
Surely something as basic as this should have come up/been resolved during beta testing?
Come on Apple, sort it out please!
I'm having the same problem here. The dock annoyingly stays open when full screen is active. fix this apple!
