Text Edit got delete/removed from my OS X IMAC version 10.5.8 IMac and I have the slightest clue how to reinstall it :\ is there anyway for me to re download it or do I have to purchase it?

Use Pacifist to extract it from your Mac OS X 10.5 DVD and then run the Mac OS X 10.5.8 combo updater.
