I HAVE A MAC BOOK PRO & I CAN'T FIND THE ICLOUD ICON, BUT I SEE THE OLD MOBILE ME ICON.  IS MY MAC COMPATIBLE TO USE THE ICLOUD W/MY IPAD & IPHONE?

Firstly, please don't post in capitals. It's difficult to read, looks like shouting, and is considered ill-mannered.

Secondly, please always post your system when you have a question, not leave us guessing. From your description it sounds as if you have a pre-Lion system. Lion 10.7.2 is required for full iCloud functionality though you can get email to work with older systems.

Roger, 1st of all i would like to apologize that it's in all caps.  I'm so new to this mac book, icloud, iphone, ipad that i have no clue what to do w/all this.  hence my reaching out to customer support for the 1st time.  excuse my rudeness.

I didn't mean to leave you guessing.  if i knew so much about computers & technical stuff, I would state all that i know & wouldn't ask questions like this.  thanks for your reply, but i will seek help elsewhere where they won't treat me like this.

again, sorry for being rude/ill mannered to have it in all caps.  definitely unintentional.

Please don't be put off: I'm just encouraging you to be able to make the best use of the forums.  As to your system, it's quite important as the answer to your question varies with what system you have.

If you mouse to the Apple icon at top left of your screen and choose 'About this Mac' it will tell you what your system is (in the second line where it says 'Version').
