Q: Transfer .ipa-file to Ipad

I'm new to Ipads. I have bought an app with the Ipad connected to the PC. I thought the app would be automatically tranferred to the Ipad but it didn't. How do I transfer the .ipa-file to my Ipad 2?

Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side use the Apps tab to select and sync that app to it. If you want all future (compatible) app purchases to automatically download on the iPad when it's connected to a network, then turn on automatic downloads on it in Settings > Store
