help, traveling in Austria..no phone! using free wifi in hotel...now it's proxy server locked into Internet browser..so no access to net for searching. have reset the network settings..browser still locked. any help?

Have you also tried to clear all the brower's history, cookies and cache via Settings -> Safari? It might not also hurt to do a hard reset of the device. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

thanks...did as you suggested..didn't work. had attempted reset before..it returns to hotel site's proxy server...and what's more..it won't actually send/receive when it iS on..using husbands iPad currently..which is working fine. nasty prob..have 2 more was to get to Apple..any more ideas? thx
