Error "400" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation preventing any iCal activity

All of a sudden, I can't write or delete events unless I go offline. It shows me:

The request for “New Event” in “Awesome Life” in account “iCloud” failed.

The server responded with

“400”

to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.

I've also tried doing so on icloud.com and I got nowhere. I've also tried deleting the iCloud account off iCal then adding it again, nothing. I was able to access the root profile but then had no idea how to access the files themselves...their path, I mean.

I'm kind of in desperate need for iCloud at these times of finals and exams all around so I'd really appreciate it if someone had the time to help. The error part of the debug log is here:

This is usually because the calendar entry is too big. Apple, in their wisdom, decided to provide space for only short-ish calendar entries, smaller than locally-stored iCal and Google Calendars. It's a really annoying oversight!

So what can you do to solve this? Whenever i start ical i get the same message again and MAC OS will not shutdown any more?

Try this:

Back up calendars. Disable calendars, open finder and move the following folders from ~/Library/ to your desktop.

/Calendars
/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
/Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist

If you find other iCal / Calendar referring files, move them also (these were the ones I found): Keep a track of where they came from in case you need to put them back. Then reenable iCloud Calendars in preferences and reenter account info in Calendars if it's missing. Everything is working as it should now.

I do not know if this would help. The problem was solved without any of my doing. I guess an update of MAC OS or the cal app did it.
