I am also in the same situation. I cannot find the solution ANYWHERE!

Bootcamp - I am able to download the windows support and burn it to a disc. However once I have decided the space to partition for my windows hd - it keeps asking me to insert the install disc (windows 7). I insert the disc and it will NOT recognize the disc.

I am trying to install windows 7 32bit and i have the latest os with all of the updates. my computer is also compatible with windows 7 installation.

please help me!

If it was burned 'normally' it may even install... it will still fail.

If that new burn at slowest speed fails then look at the make of your DVD media which is less often but culprit at times nonetheless.

It matters.

Burn speed is 100% responsible for a lot of threads and qustions and having to anwser over and over... DU does not burn Wiindows 7 ISO or .exe properly "as is."

I bookmarked a thread with tips for this. There is even a utilty to help Macs burn Windows images.

Well I feel like a moron. I just realized that the version I downloaded from my school is an UPGRADE Windows 7 and that's why I obviously could not partition using Bootcamp.

Now I have to figure out 32/64bit and cannot see anything after EFI in my system - ugh this is why I dislike non-apple products!
