My itunes id is disabled and I can't update or download, any ideas?

    If changing your password does not solve then contact itunes support.

    What makes you think that...If your ID is giving you problems there could be seveal answers for you.  More information  would be helpful as to what you you are doing, please.  Anyway--- check Safari, then under the preference pane check: Block cookies and advertisers. This will help you login. If you are using your ID with iTunes to purchase items or to download please check your information  on: Edit Payment Information i.e. the security code for your credit card. If that isn't it, look up in the top left corner of the iTune page and there you will see you ID. Click on it and sign out then sign back in.  I'm guessing here due to not fully understsanding your concern but the above is a start for you .  I'm sure other members in the Apple Support Community will come to your rescue once they know more specifically what happen to make you believe your ID is disabled
